We grew up less than 20 miles from Minidoka but never learned about it in school. It was as if they thought ignoring the story would make the injustices go away. Friends of Minidoka is a leader in protecting the site and teaching the lessons we learned from it. We are all responsible for ensuring that basic human rights are never again stripped away from a group of people based on fear and bias.

For these reasons, we are excited to commit a three-year pledge to Friends of Minidoka, and we are proud to be allies to Minidoka—its survivors, descendants, and its ongoing legacy.
