Karen Hirai Olen, Survivor

The Minidoka National Historic Site is a memorial to the Issei, Nisei, Sansei​ and their survivors who were incarcerated, shamed and humiliated because of their national origin and ancestry. The preservation of Minidoka AS IT IS NOW ​ is a legacy that must be preserved for the Nikkei community and the world. I hope that everyone will support Friends of Minidoka as they continue to preserve the viewshed.
