As we near the end of our 80th Anniversary We Are Minidoka growth and sustainability campaign, we reflect on the importance of preserving places like Minidoka National Historic Site and the memories they hold. To pass on history at a time when misinformation, book bans, and division are at the top of the news, holding space for truth, remembrance, and education is more important than ever.
Friends of Minidoka, the nonprofit philanthropic partner for Minidoka National Historic Site, works tirelessly with National Park Service staff to preserve, protect, and educate about the unjust WWII incarceration of Japanese Americans and its legacy. Proud of all we have accomplished, Friends of Minidoka is maturing and growing so we can do more for Minidoka.
Please Give Today!
Help us raise the Remaining $4,500.
Your donation supports the work of Friends of Minidoka, and thus Minidoka National Historic Site. Our goal is to raise a total of $442,000 for Friends of Minidoka for a three-year period -- a goal set in honor of the 442nd Battalion and the 1,000+ Minidoka men and women who served in the U.S. military while their families remained incarcerated.
In less than one year, you have helped us raise $437,500 — 99% of our overall $442,000 goal for our We Are Minidoka campaign. To learn more, visit our campaign page.
Please consider making a one-time gift or a multi-year gift pledge to Friends of Minidoka. Help us raise the last $4,500 of our campaign!
